BALANCED DESIGN CHOICES SUCH AS STRONG TYPOGRAPHY, CLEAN LAYOUTS, CONSISTENT COLOR SYSTEMS, AND THOUGHTFUL COMPOSITION WORK TOGETHER WITH ACTIVE, FLEXIBLE STRATEGIC THINKING. THIS COMBINATION ALLOWS CREATIVE WORK TO LOOK POLISHED AND PROFESSIONAL WHILE STILL SERVING A PURPOSE. THE RESULT IS DESIGN THAT FUNCTIONS EFFECTIVELY, TELLS A COHESIVE STORY, AND BUILDS A MEANINGFUL CONNECTION WITH THE PEOPLE IT IS MEANT TO REACH.

THIS APPROACH ALSO SUPPORTS LONG TERM GROWTH FOR BRANDS AND PROJECTS. WHEN VISUAL DESIGN AND STRATEGY ARE ALIGNED, THE WORK BECOMES MORE ADAPTABLE AND CONSISTENT ACROSS DIFFERENT TOUCHPOINTS. IT ALLOWS IDEAS TO SCALE, CAMPAIGNS TO FEEL UNIFIED, AND USER EXPERIENCES TO FEEL INTENTIONAL FROM START TO FINISH. Hello, I’m John Selgrad. I am a designer who brings visual creativity together with audience insight. I will graduate in 2026 with degrees in Graphic Design and Digital Audiences, which gives me a strong mix of design craft and digital strategy. I enjoy turning ideas into visuals that look great and match how people think, search, and interact online.

I create work that grabs attention and serves a purpose. My dual background helps me design with intention by connecting form, function, and user behavior. I am drawn to clean, balanced visuals, strong storytelling, and design systems that feel unified across every platform.
